good morning tuesday




It's already 11.15 and I'm still in bed.
The todo's today:

eat breakfast
buy allergy tablets and green tea
go to a hair salon

paint nails
bring the rest of my stuff from my friends
join the gym

Glad to be back



Landed last thursday and stayed in Hotel Holborn with my mum until saturday. On the menu was;

- meeting Heini, Verkku and Janna for coctails
- Going to Luxx club
- Mamma Mia musical
- Moroccan food
- Japanese food
- Shopping
- Icecream
- English buffet breakfast for 23 pounds: it was the best experience, whilst hangover. My hand just shook when I ate and my face was red... not to mention the hotel staff who were looking at me every other second. WTF, just let me eat ok? I know I look fucking ridiculous.

Now I'm in my own flat in Luton, it's fecking fabulous i.e. I don't even go out anymore. I still need to print out some art work and place them on the walls.

VAGABOND SHOES

Yesterday in town, I saw this girl. With these wonderful shoes. I stopped her and commented on her wonderful fabulous extraordinary wedges and asked where they were from, she looked grateful for my kind words and said the magical words... v-a-g-a-b-o-n-d.

NEED to have a pair! I just don't have a clue in which colour... black?? no?? beige??

Me & Exercise



In the beginning of June I decided - this is it, I'm done with my unhealthy lifestyle origined from being a university student in England where you drink to live and eat crap to enjoy.

No one week diet wonders where you starve to death and get back to your old habits three days after. No, a complete lifestyle change-over! Basically I decided to start exercising (would have NEVER EVER guessed that I was going to become completely in love with it) and cut back on the white carbs (not eliminating them completely).

Today, 4 months after- perhaps only 5 kg lighter... But hell - I have ab muscles, even my ass is a round miracle! I can run 10km in 55minutes! I can endure a three hour workout without feeling exhausted! I have arm muscles!

What makes me happy? Definitely my health, and through exercising 3-6 times per week, improving my condition and challenging my body.

I've always been a sportsgirl, I just lost myself in the party scene for the past 5 years. Now I'm back!

Keep Calm and Exercise Hard




Yesterday evening I ate a HUGE amount of chocolate = big mistake, don't eat late in the evening! It ended up in me waking up at 4 with the most horrid feeling of wanting to puke out EVERRYTHING, my stomach was screaming full. I drank a few cups of water and tried to fall asleep again... and woah, now I'm disgusted of chocolate...

So today I started the morning with a 5km walk.
Breakfast consisting of low fat yogurt, blueberries and apple pieces + big cup of green tea + a glass of vitamin-C water.

Doing today:

- Bodypump class 1h
- Organizing closet
- Buy new foundation

I love being on holiday! Went to lunch with Emmy, walked around in stores, stayed in a coffee shop with some green tea and read for my driver's license test which is on friday... Took a bus to my gym and went to abs&ass class, worked out on a crosstrainer for 50 minutes... Sang LOUD my iPod songs when I was walking home, I've become a weirdo :-)

Friday was my last day at work, celebrated in a new Mexican restaurant called Shanghai cowboys. Saturday was party time, I was more like a zombie-drunk and not the wild party animal... maybe next time.

Today I woke up ill. Typical. Watched two movies, bored to death... Tomorrow I'm going exercising, dead or alive!

Went to the police station, renewed my passport. Was supposed to renew my driver's license - hand in the proof that I've done all the stages, but no, instead came the horrid news that I have to take the driving test AGAIN! I've been driving for three damn years, I know bloody well how to drive.

Anyway; today I'm going for dinner with some friends and to a bar to meet some more friends.

I can't stop myself, it's close to impossible but now- I really have to try and not buy any new clothes, shoes, make-up etc. It's ridiculous...

Instead I'll go and sell half of my shit, soon very soon.

few things


1. All those statements above nailed how I've started living my life this summer. Still need to work on the 'worry less'... and perhaps read less :D

2. Finally put my beige boots on to work! Officially welcomed autumn

3. Went to Tori yesterday with C and H. Great place, great food. Damn mad that I forgot my camera though (pictures from weheartit.com)

Midnight run result; 10 km


God I was nervous the whole day before the run! When we got to the start my adrenaline was flooding and I was really excited- the run itself went really well and evenly, I had the same time from 0-5km as 5-10km!

Afterwards we went to Sokos Hotel to the rooftop sauna and had drinks, me and Elina left to a bar later.

My next run is in two weeks, 10,5km - my goal is to run it under 55min even though it's a longer route. I have to train in difficult environments to improve my condition, so the 2km uphill road close to our house (and the gym) is gonna be my best pal in the next few weeks.

Yesterday I ran over an hour on the treadmill, on my way home it started raining like never before, completely drenched I called my mom a hundred times - afraid to become ill, I desperately needed a ride. 15 minutes later, clothes wet and tight on my body - I felt so angry, I wanted to scream at the world but I screamed at my mother instead. She isn't the weather god... still I had to yell.

Today I woke up with a heavy head and sore throat... On saturday it's the midnight run. I'll do whatever it takes to be able to run.

1,5h weeks left of 5.45 mornings...

My next flat is gonna be so banging! Move in date 1.10. The flat itself already is very modern and neat so making it look nice won't be a problem.

It's getting harder and harder to wake up at 5.45, especially with the thunder and rain today it felt quite awful but I made it. With Hunters on my feet I strolled to the bus stop, didn't even bother with make-up.

Bought a one month gym card for 105 euros! I'm planning to work out when my job finishes and all my friends are in uni... That was the best plan I could think off :p I'm gonna try every single class they have on offer in my gym, yesterday I went to Latino-dance... which was, well close to a disaster. I had a good laugh though.
